Place Shapers are VIVID employees who support the growth of communities by establishing and maintaining relationships with people, partners and organisations whilst researching and analysing opportunities to bring and add value to a community through their Local Plans.
Yes, you can get involved, although there is no formal application process, you can always make a VIVID staff member aware of your interest and they'll refer you to the Place Shaping team. We also have Place Shaping officers identifying potential involvement opportunities on the front line
A Local Plan utilises local research, to identify community requirements, explore what is already provided there, and what isn’t. And if what isn’t there is needed, how do we identify partners to get it there.
A partner is an organisation which can deliver targeted and tailored opportunities to identified communities. Partners will have a specific skill set tailored to address and develop the needs of the local area.
