    • You can set up a Direct Debit online in your 'Payments' section under 'Manage direct debit'
    • You can also complete a form on our website

    • If there are changes to your rent amount, we’ll let you know and change the Direct Debit amount with your bank, you don’t need to do anything
    • Use your tenancy reference number as the payment reference (you can find this on any letters we've sent you)
    • If you set up a new Direct Debit, please make sure to cancel any old Direct Debits you may have with us

    • Call us on 0800 652 0898
    • We're open 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am - 4.30pm on Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

    • This financial year there are 53 chargeable Mondays in the financial year 24/25
    • If you pay your rent monthly, we will use the following calculation: NEW RENT multiplied by 53 divided by 12
    • Universal Credit (UC) will not cover the 53rd Monday so ALL UC customers will need to cover this charge
    • Housing Benefit covers all chargeable weeks so are not affected
    • You can pay this over the course of the year and in most cases its a few £ a week e.g. Weekly rent = £200, £200/53 = £3.77 per week
    • If you need help or advice on your payments please contact us

Depending on your tenancy agreement we will either charge you rent over 52 or 48 weeks. Your tenancy agreement will detail how we charge you.
Rent clear weeks this financial year are week commencing:

    • 1 and 8 April 2024 (first 2 weeks in April)
    • 16 December and 23 December 2024

Customers on 48 week tenancies can remain on them. However, they're being phased out, so customers on 52 week tenancies cannot swap to 48 weeks and all new re-lets will be 52 weeks.
If you have arrears on your account, you will still need to continue clearing your arrears during a rent clear week.
