Solar panels
Some of our homes are equipped with solar panels that generate electricity, helping to reduce your energy consumption. These panels produce electricity during daylight hours, with output increasing as sunlight intensifies. You can maximise the benefits of this renewable energy by using electrical appliances during periods of strong sunlight.
The amount of electricity produced depends heavily on sunlight and the size of your solar system. For instance, if you're home and using electricity while the sun is shining, your solar panels will help power your appliances, reducing the amount of electricity you need to draw from your utility provider.
The solar panels, that we have installed, are owned by VIVID and may be registered under the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) program. As a result, you're not eligible to claim any discounts or payments from energy companies, as VIVID retains the benefits from the FIT. However, you'll benefit directly from the electricity generated by the solar panels, allowing you to save on your energy bills.
We can investigate giving permission to allow you to arrange for these to be installed, however you would need to live in a house or bungalow and be a Leaseholder or Shared Owner.
Please get in touch with us before starting any works so that we can investigate the request first
If VIVID are responsible for the solar panels, please get in touch with to report the repair that's needed.
