Who are VIVID?

 

We believe that everyone has the right to a safe and secure place to call home, and from the moment customers move into their VIVID home we’re here to help with that and more.

Our customers have access to a wide range of tailored advice to sustain their tenancies and look after their wellbeing. We invest in our homes and communities for the long-term, and this means in the quality, safety and energy efficiency of existing homes and neighbourhoods, with a firm focus on improving services so they’re easy to use and access by our customers.  

We’re addressing the shortage of affordable housing in the south, building the right type of homes to meet the needs of our local communities. We’re the sixth largest developer of new homes amongst housing associations in England, having built around 1,400 last year.

This is summed up in our vision “More homes, bright futures”.

  • Our corporate plan 2023-28 sets out our ambitions and our course of action, centred around building trust, pride and impact to benefit our customers
  • We have 74,000 customers and 35,000 homes across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and West Sussex
  • Our charitable arm VIVID Plus provides targeted support for customers and investment to local communities to help them thrive
  • In 2022-23 we secured £5.8m unclaimed benefits/income for customers that they were entitled to and helped 448 customers with employment and training
  • In 2022-23 we invested £82.1m in our existing homes
