Gould Close
On 15 October 2024 the freehold of the properties in Gould Close was sold to The Filey Group. As part of this purchase, we've agreed to surrender the lease to them.
- Once the lease is surrendered the Filey Group will become the landlord, and their relationship with VIVID will end
- We're looking to complete the lease surrender on or soon after 7 January 2025
- Once the surrender is complete you'll receive a ‘Rent authority letter’ to confirm you will need to change who you pay your rent to
- Your tenancy will transfer to the Filey Group and if the Filey Group choose to make any amendments they will need to follow the necessary legal processes
The deposit paid when you first moved in will remain securely registered with the original protection scheme until the tenancy is terminated. The responsibility of the deposit will transfer to the Filey Group when the lease is surrendered.
- You'll be responsible for paying your rent to VIVID until the lease is surrendered to the Filey Group, after this time you will need to pay the Filey Group, the details of which will be shared with you in the Rent Authority letter
- Following this, we will cancel any direct debits associated with your account. Please note that you will need to cancel any standing orders on your side
- If you're claiming Universal Credit, please update your Universal Credit online account on the day of surrender
- We'll confirm your transferring balance, if any, prior to the surrender of the lease
- Should your account be in credit, we'll contact you within 7 days to arrange a refund
- Once you receive your rent authority letter from the Filey Group, please arrange all future payments with them, as all payments to and from VIVID will cease
- All repairs moving forward will be dealt with by Parkstone Asset Management on behalf of The Filey Group
- Parkstone Asset Management will be managing properties on Gould Close on behalf of the Filey Group, they'll be writing to you soon to introduce themselves and confirm how to contact them for any other matters
- For any new repairs & maintenance issues please log them through their online portal
- In an emergency, please call their offices on 02088154004 or email boz@parkstoneassets.co.uk
