Help with white goods or furniture

We understand moving into your first home, or replacing used items can be expensive. There are things we can do to help you to source these items. 
 

  • Contact your local council to see if they can help with furniture packages
  • Ask family or friends if they can help
  • Try sourcing items second hand, or for free on social media sites such as Facebook Marketplace
  • If none of the above can help, you can self-refer to our Tenancy Support Service via the virtual agent. Please complete the 'Better off calculator' and submit it with your referral

  • Ask family or friends to see if they can help
  • Try sourcing a replacement second hand, or for free on social media sites such as Facebook Marketplace
  • In exceptional cases we may be able to help, but we have strict criteria. Please complete the 'Better off calculator' and submit it via the virtual agent and ask to be referred to our Tenancy Support service
  • If we can help, it will be a basic white model. Coloured appliances won’t be considered
