Personal lifts
A stair lift is an electrical device to help vulnerable people up and down stairs. Most commonly seen as a seat, there can be models that are a standing platforms too.
A through floor lift is something that can help wheelchair users move freely between different floors of the property. One advantage of this is they're able to travel between floors without leaving the wheelchair.
This is a fold out platform to help people with mobility issues to get up and down stairs. These tend to be used mainly in communal spaces and can be found in our specialist schemes.

- Before getting in touch, please check if the personal lift is in it's warranty period. If the personal lift is in warranty period then any repairs need to be raised with the company that installed it.
Depending on who installed the personal lift, it may have a warranty between 1-3 years. If you're unsure, you can check for stickers to see who installed it and contact them to find out more, Liftech, Prism or Hampshire Mobility are popular installers that offer a warranty period - If there any repairs, please get in touch with us and we can have a look into it
- Shared Owners and Leaseholders should refer to their lease for any repair responsibilities
- Temple Lifts complete the servicing on all lifts inside a renting customer's home
- Stairlifts are serviced every year and through floor lifts and platform lifts are serviced every 6 months
- Shared Owners and Leaseholders are responsible for arranging their own servicing needs
- On top of servicing and repairs, legally we have to complete a LOLER inspection, which is completed by our contractor BES, British Engineering Services. These inspections are required by law so we need to ensure that these are completed, and customers cannot opt out of them
