Tiling
- We’ll repair tiles using standard white 4x4 tiles, but we’ll try to match your existing tiles where possible
- We won’t fit tiles you’ve supplied. You can do this yourself as a property improvement
- We’ll repair a small number of loose or damaged tiles where we can in the first visit
- If a larger area needs repair, we’ll replace that section of tiles, which may take more than one visit
- We’ll maintain the existing tiles around your kitchen
- We won’t install tiles in areas that aren’t already tiled
- If there’s a splashback behind your cooker or sink, we’ll look after it, however, we won’t add one if there isn’t one already
- We’ll maintain tiles around your bath, wash hand basin and other areas where tiles are already in place
- We won’t add tiles to areas that don’t already have them
- If you’ve installed your own tiles in your kitchen or bathroom, you’ll need to maintain these as a property improvement
- If you're a shared owner, leaseholder or freeholder (unless it states otherwise in your lease)
- If your tiles are starting to look discoloured
- Where there is staining due to a cleaning habits
If something's not right and we're responsible, you can raise a repair in your online account, under the 'Manage repairs' section.
You can also raise a repair through our chatbot or by giving us a call on 0800 652 0898. If your repair is an emergency, please call our out of hours team on the same number, who will be available day or night.
- Depending on the size/reported issue, we'll inspect and look at next steps
- If it's a few tiles missing/loose we'll complete in the first visit
- If more work is needed, we'll arrange a date with you to come back
If we need to return, it’s best not to shower where possible and use the bath where you can till we can re-attend
If you need to shower, try to minimise the water going in the impacted area
After we have completed the work, to allow the sealant/grout to set, avoid using shower for 24 hours
