Wellbeing service

  • The wellbeing service is here to help, support, guide and to advise VIVID customers to engage with their GP, NHS and other services, to encourage you to attend appointments, clinics and therapies, and to help you understand diagnoses and develop an action plan for the way forward, through what is a difficult and emotional time.
  • The wellbeing service is a non-clinical role.

  • The wellbeing service will develop an action plan tailored to the individual customer needs and support the customer to reach the outcomes through telephone, text and where necessary home visits. depending on the need and complexity of the case.
  • The wellbeing service support may run alongside other VIVID tenancy support services and other professional agencies working together.

    For anyone in crisis or struggling to cope with stress, anxiety or worry.

    Support for people who are feeling low, in crisis and/or need to talk to someone

    Open 365 days a year between 10am – 10pm
    Support if you’re experiencing anxiety & panic attacks
    Also plays a crisis message that’s a recording of breathing exercises that can help you through a panic attack – call 01952 680 835 to listen to it anytime

    Open every day of the year between 4pm – 10pm
    Call them to chat about your mental health and to get support with how you’re feeling emotionally

  • The Silver Line – 0800 470 80 90
    Open 24 hours, 7 days a week for anyone over the age of 55
    Call them for a chat if you’re feeling lonely. They can also give advice.

    Open Mon-Friday 8.30am 6.30pm & Saturdays 9am – 1pm
    Call them for a chat if you’re feeling lonely or need an advice, you can even ​​​​​set up regular phone calls with a volunteer
     
  • Age UK Advice Line – 0800 678 1602
    Open 8am – 7pm every day
    Call them for a chat if you’re feeling lonely and they can also give advice and support
     
  • British Red Cross- 0808 196 3651
    - Open Mon-Friday 10am- 5pm (and till 8pm on Wednesdays)
    - Offering free emotional and practical support whilst trying to help to connect you with services available in your area.

    Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 5.30pm and Friday 9.30am – 5pm (24 hr service to enable access to refuge accommodation).
    Facebook Messenger is available 9.30am – 11.30am; 3 – 5pm and 6-8pm Monday to Fridays.
     
  • Victim Care Service: 0808 1781641
    • Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
    • (0808 1689111 outside these hours)
    • A new, free 24/7 live chat service is now available for all victims of crime
    • They have also launched ‘My Support Space’ which is a free, secure online platform containing interactive guides, tips and videos on topics such as difficult emotions, coping strategies, trauma and sleep which are common issues that people may experience after crime.
