Gas boiler codes
To find out more about the error codes you can refer to the boiler user guide or select your boiler type if it's one of the 4 most common types of boilers listed below.
Some commonly seen boiler errors that you may find are:
- F1/L1, this means that there is low pressure. If you feel confident to do so, you can safely top up the pressure by following the instructions in our low pressure article
- F2/L2, this is known as flame loss. This could be due to no gas to the boiler, so please check if other gas appliances are working
- If other gas appliances aren't working, this could mean there is no gas. Please check that the gas meter is working and if applicable, check if there is money on the meter. Your gas supplier may be working in the area so please make sure to check with them for any outages
- If other appliances are working, this means there is no gas going to your boiler. If the boiler is our responsibility, please get in contact with us so we can arrange for one of operatives to attend - A blank screen means there is no power to boiler. Please check that you have electric in your property and check your fuse board to see if anything has tripped. If you're unsure, please get in contact
